S.V. Tararykin graduated from Ivanovo Power Institute named after V.I. Lenin in 1978. He started as a postgraduate student and held different positions at the University: Junior and later Senior Scientific Worker, Associate Professor, Professor, Head of Department, Vice-President for Academic Affairs. S.V. Tararykin was elected President in 2006.

 

Scientific Interests:

  • electronic control and information-measuring systems;
  • high-precision control of electric drive;
  • controlled synchronization of industrial unit multichannel electromechanical systems;
  • automation of technological processes and industrial production;
  • information-measuring microprocessor systems and instruments;
  • computer environment of real-time control system automated design and adjustment.

He has headed and personally participated in commercializing of over 80 new scientific developments in the field of control microprocessor systems at textile, chemical, glass producing enterprises, in power engineering and machine building.

Under his guidance ISPU has completed 46 most significant scientific research projects initiated by the Committee for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and a number of branch ministries.

His scientific work has been rewarded with 16 international awards at various exhibitions and shows in Lyons, Paris, Brussels, Geneva, Moscow.
